Cindy Fernández, the agency’s meteorologist, said: “High or extreme temperatures are expected, some cities may even have a heat wave if the requirements are met. Throughout the north, center and much of Patagonia there will be very high maximum temperatures.”
The temperatures estimates will be from 35°C to 40°C, especially in the central and northern provinces of the country; For its part, in Patagonia the thermometer will rise to 35°C.
Although the SMN pointed out that this is “a classic situation” of the summer season, it also expressed that the rise in the temperature it can cause health problems, especially dehydration and heat stroke.
