The executive director of Citigroup will come to Mexico

In the coming days, Jane Fraser, who is the CEO of Citigroup worldwide, will visit Mexico to meet with President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and Secretary of Finance Rogelio Ramírez de la O.

The main issue will be the sale of the Mexican subsidiary of the international financial consortium. They asked for the interview, hopefully, we want it, that this is resolved soon for the benefit of the banking system and our country, and that Mexicans be the ones who stay with the bank, that they buy the majority shares, that is what we are posing; also so that Banamex’s cultural heritage remains in the country, so that it does not go abroadsaid López Obrador during his conference.
