Los Caifanes is one of the legendary rock bands in Spanish that are still in force with millions of followers around the world.
The Mexican rock en español band formed in 1985 by Saúl Hernández, Alfonso André, Sabo Romo and Diego Herrera and later joined in 1989 by Alejandro Marcovich as lead guitarist, was last night in the city of Medellín offering a live recital.

The appointment was at the La Macarena Events Center, at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, and there was a full house.

The public responded and from very early on they lined up with tickets in hand to watch their favorite band up close and sing legendary songs like «Outside», «Nothing happens here», «The cell that explodes», «La negra Tomasa», «Wind»among other hits.
Caifanes moved the public with his show and with the message he brought to the country. The band projected some photos of the national strike with which they supported the social struggle and the interests of the less favored.
In one of these photos, a young man appears holding a sign that reads “Who gave the order?”, alluding to false positives.

They also waved the national tricolor flag at all times, an unforgettable detail for spectators and fans of the rock band.
It should be remembered that this is a rock band characterized by its songs in favor of social portesta, ranking among the first places in the list of groups that include within their lyrics, the struggles that vulnerable communities live.

This gesture was applauded by the thousands of attendees who crowded the venue located at Carrera 63 #44a-65 in the capital of Antioquia.
As a curious fact, Caifanes had about 17 years without offering a concert in the city of Medellín. The last time was in 1994.
