The European regulator gave its approval this Wednesday to the use of Pfizer and Moderna’s anti-Covid vaccines from 6 months of age, which makes them the first anti-Covid vaccines authorized for children under five years of age in the European Union.
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) recommended “include the use in children between 6 months and 4 years for Comirnaty”, by Pfizer, and “the use in children between 6 months and 5 years for Spikevax”, by Moderna, stated the European regulator in a statement.
