The entities that still do not have a ‘responsible’ after 5 months of Government

Petro comes out to mediate after controversy over the use of pension savings

It’s been almost a semester since Gustavo Petro took office as president of Colombia, during which time the new government has made several changes and appointments with a view to fulfilling its campaign project, including the creation of the Ministry of Equality, which will be headed by Vice President Francia Márquez, among others initiatives and proposed reforms.

(Criticism for the most controversial appointments in Petro’s cabinet.)

However, although the Government has already put its key cards on several fronts and seems to have overcome the period of splicing, It is still worrying that the representatives of some important and fundamental entities for the functioning of the government have not been officially appointed.

With the recent resignation of Deyanira Barrero from the general management of ICAthere are now six entities that do not have their leaders officially appointed by the Government, among which are also Inpec, National Printing, RTVC, Fonade and the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce.

(Petro appointed his ministers in ICT, Transport and Foreign Trade).

In the five months of the Petro Government, these entities have functioned under the leadership of officials who have not been made official and who would possibly have changes that have not yet been made by the Colombian president.

One of the “Headaches” What the new government has had has been precisely that of appointments, such as the controversial appointment of Mery Gutiérrez in MinTIC, which fell days later or the failed appointment of César Ferrari in the DNP, among other cases.
