The Genoa presented its fourth equipment on Wednesday, a navy blue shirt and a yellow strip in the center, inspired by the colors of Boca Juniors to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the birth of the Argentine club, founded by Genoese immigrants in Buenos Aires.
The new clothing maintains the chromatic scheme of Boca, the blue and yellow, but incorporates the Genoa shield with its emblematic tap, symbol of the oldest club in Italy.
As a special detail, in the back, just below the neck, the inscription ‘Zeneixi’ has been added, the Genoese adaptation of ‘Xeneizes’, a term, which originally meant “Genoese” and that eventually became an identity symbol for the Buenos Aires club.
With this shirt, Genoa pays tribute to Boca Juniors, one of the most laureate teams in the world, founded in 1905 by Genoese immigrants who had settled in Buenos Aires.
For the presentation of the equipment, Genoa has prepared a photographic and audiovisual campaign in charge of photographer Sam Gregg with the aim of capturing emotional, cultural and football ties that unite Genoa and Buenos Aires.

This launch not only celebrates shared football history, but also pays tribute to the migratory waves of the early twentieth century, when thousands of Genoese settled in Argentina, according to the Italian club in a note.
Genoa will premiere this fourth equipment on March 29 in its series A against Juventus in Turin.
