The magistrates determined that the sanction contemplated in the law, that is, the automatic loss of the registration of the candidacy in case of violating the norm and running a campaign, violates the rights of hearing, due defense and access to justice, among others.
They considered that the LIPEEO article violates the rights of association, meeting and affiliation of citizens and citizens registered as sole pre-candidates.
On Friday, the national leader of Morena, Mario Delgado, had recognized that until then Jara was prevented from running for the campaign.
Jara seeks to win the governorship of Oaxaca on June 5. On that date, the states of Aguascalientes, Durango, Hidalgo, Quintana Roo and Tamaulipas will also have elections to elect governorship.
