The Frente Amplio formula, made up of Yamandú Orsi and Carolina Cosse, obtained a total of 1,212,830 votes, equivalent to 49.8% of the electorate. For their part, Álvaro Delgado and Valeria Ripoll, representatives of the National Party, reached 1,119,537 votes, which represents 45.9%. In this way, the Frente Amplio surpassed the white formula by 93,293 votes.
Of the 2,436,780 votes cast, 39,542 were blank and 64,654 were cancelled.
In territorial terms, the Electoral Court confirmed the victory of Orsi and Cosse in Montevideo, Canelones, Salto, Paysandú and San José, while Delgado and Ripoll obtained a majority in the rest of the country.
