The mayor of the National Party for the department of Soriano, Tatiana loitey, was separated from her list that led her to the position of popular election after the scandal that led another mayor of the same political force, Israel Acuña, who filmed her without her consent in a shower at the National Congress of Ediles days ago.
In the session of the Departmental Board in which she is edila, Loitey expressed that from now on she will travel “an independent path” announcing that she was separated from the list.
“I want to state that I did not receive the support of the list for which I was chosen, but this does not intimidate me but makes me realize how much remains to be done so that these issues emerge and become aware. Today I am beginning an independent path, committed as always to my department and my party, but with much more force ”, said the young politician.
Loitey thanked the support she received from the National Party leadership, but regretted “the attitude of some of her local authorities” and departmental authorities who did not make any public demonstration defending her from the scandalous act.

At the end of October, the mayor Acuña showed his cell phone by a banner in the bathroom where Loitey was taking a shower with the camera on. His intention was to film an intimate video.
After realizing that she was being recorded, the young woman quickly covered herself with a towel and went out to chase the man around the hotel. As reported at the time Agesor, was pressured by other congress participants and was forced to hand over the phone to the woman so that she herself could erase the material. The individual was ordered to leave the congress earlier and return to his locality.
Several days later, the PN expressed its “repudiation” of the fact but did not expel him: it was the mayor himself who later resigned from office.
