San Juan, Puerto Rico.- In the framework of the celebration of the 100 years of the Association of Farmers of Puerto Rico, the Dominican Minister of Agriculture, Limber Cruz, stood out as a foreign guest panelist, sharing the experiences and the successful agricultural model of the Dominican Republic.
In his speech, he highlighted the support of President Luis Abinader’s government for the development of the Dominican Republic’s agricultural sector.
The Secretary of Agriculture of Puerto Rico, Ramón González Beiró, participated alongside the Dominican minister. During the meeting, both agreed to hold a future meeting to formalize an agricultural cooperation agreement between the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.
This initiative seeks to strengthen ties between both nations and promote the exchange of knowledge and practices in the agricultural field.
The participation of Minister Limber Cruz in this commemoration demonstrated the interest and commitment of the Dominican Republic in promoting regional collaboration in the agricultural sector, in order to promote sustainable growth and innovation in agriculture.
