At the end of the day on Tuesday, the US dollar fell in price by 0.46% compared to the previous day, stopping a streak of two consecutive days of increases. On Tuesday, the dollar (USD) fluctuated between $39.03 (Uruguayan pesos, UYU) and $39.15, closing at the lower of the two numbers at the end of the day.

So far in February, the US currency has appreciated 1.02%, while it has fallen 2.48% so far this year. Through the screens of the Electronic Stock Market (Bevsa) 56 operations were made for an amount of US$30 million.

This Wednesday, the values ​​of the main currencies on the Banco República website are (buy and sell, respectively):

  • eBROU dollar: $38.50 | $39.70
  • Euro: $39.79 | $44.38
  • Argentine Peso: $0.05 | $0.35
  • Brazilian Real: $7.11 | $8.91
  • Indexed Unit (sale only): $5.59440

On the Argentine side, the Banco Nación dollar (official price) was quoted at $196.25 Argentine pesos (ARS), the tourist dollar at ARS$393.02, the free dollar at ARS$379, the MEP dollar at ARS$354, and the cash with settlement in ARS $361.
