Toronto (USA).- The Los Angeles Dodgers were crowned Major League champions this Saturday for the second consecutive year, after winning the epic, in the second extra inning, the seventh game of the World Series against the Toronto Blue Jays (5-4), in which Venezuelan Miguel Rojas hit the tying home run in the ninth and Will Smith hit the title-winning home run.
The Blue Jays had won by reaching the eighth inning, up 4-2, but some home runs by Max Muncy and Miguel Rojas changed the history of the game at the Rogers Center in Toronto.
In the second extra inning, Will Smith gave the Los Angeles franchise the first double in a World Series since the New York Yankees achieved it between 1998 and 2000.
