The pilgrimage includes a visit to more than 60 churches, the first to receive the sacred image being the Basilica El Cristo.
This was confirmed by the parish priest Marco Céspedes, who specified the details of the visits. “With all the Eucharists, the homage, the sacrament of baptism and everything that means that the Virgin can be within our parish“he indicated.
It should be noted that the image of the Divine Shepherdess will return to her sanctuary before Palm Sunday.
The schedule includes a visit to the local hospital and the Sagrada Familia chapel. They will also make stops at historic temples in the center and west of the city such as Our Lady of Altagracia, San Francisco de Asís and the Immaculate Conception.
