The Ministry of Transport reported that the supply of SUBE cards at points of sale is “stabilizing”, after the inconveniences generated in recent months due to global difficulties in the sale of an input for the manufacture of plastic and due to the increased demand due to the normalization of face-to-face work and school activities.
“So far in March, more than 130,000 cards have already been distributed and 90,000 SUBE cards will be delivered before the end of the month,” the Transportation portfolio said in a statement.
“Also, work is being done on modifying the delivery network, since there is a stock of approximately 1 million cards that were sold to sales network companies and were not delivered at points of sale,” the ministry added.
Likewise, it was reported that work is being done “on the implementation of an online distribution system where, starting in April, the user will be able to buy the SUBE card through the official website” and will receive the plastic at home.
Currently, the cards are sold at a price of $90 in the 59 SUBE Service Centers of the AMBA, in lottery shops in the province of Buenos Aires, in train and subway stations and in participating local businesses.
