“This afternoon’s mobilization is based on a set of lies that can be discarded and demonstrated very easily. All the information they require has been delivered and it can be accessed on our website and it has been presented in socialization not only in Santa Cruz, (because) we do not see specific interests of a group or city,” Arandia clarified in a telephone contact with EL DEBER.
The departmental assemblywoman Paola Aguirre pointed out that they sent several letters to the INE and also requests for a meeting with the director, which would not have been attended. Arandia denied it and points out that the answers were sent.
“The answer has been that, go to the INE page to review the information. They do not respect the Santa Cruz institutionalitythey do not comply with the duties that are inherent to their position”, the legislator claimed yesterday.
The vice president of the Committee for Santa Cruz, Fernando Larach, said that there is also a lack of respect from the Ministry of Planning by not providing the information and not responding to the call of the authorities to explain what the progress of the census is.

Arandia ratified the interest and obligation of the INE to hold departmental meetings with all sectors of society, an example of this are the meetings in Tarija and today in the city of La Paz.
