The General Directorate of Internal Taxes (DGII) announced the new features incorporated into its application “DGII Mobile” to improve the experience of taxpayers and citizens in general, as part of their process of digital transformation.
The general director of the DGII, Luis Valdez Verascalled on taxpayers and citizens to update the application on their mobile phones so that they can view the new changes.
The update of the application – available in Google Play for Android devices and App Storefor Apple-, is part of the extensive modernization process carried out by the institution to guarantee more agile and efficient processes for citizens.
New features
1. Registration of those registered in the National Taxpayer Registry (RNC): The DGIIat the user’s request, will register their RNC, which will allow those who need to carry out specific procedures, declarations or payments of taxes and fees occasionally, to register directly from the application.
2. Improvement in request consultation: Another added improvement is the visualization of the state of the requests entered. With this improvement, users can see the status of their request along with a descriptive comment about its progress.
3. Consultation of the ceitherI say QR of the labels: From Now, the application will allow taxpayers and citizens in general to verify the authenticity of the labels by consulting the QR code assigned. This module provides a quick and secure means to certify the validity of the labels from the application DGII Mobile.
