The General Directorate of Civil Aeronautics (DGAC) denied the complaint on Tuesday carried out by the opposition alliance We believe in a supposed second “narco flight” that would have left the Viru Viru airport, in Santa Cruz.

“The DGAC categorically denies the case denounced by deputies of the Creemos bench, which constitutes in a non-scheduled executive aviation flightwhich complied with all the provisions of the Bolivian Civil Aeronautical Law and its aeronautical regulations, protecting operational safety”, quotes a statement released by the aforementioned Directorate.

On Monday, three Creemos deputies denounced an alleged second “narcoflight” and they requested reports from three ministries.

According to his complaint, the 28th of February an aircraft of the company BestflyAircraft Management, which has its headquarters in Luanda (Angola), landed at the Santa Cruz air terminal with five crew members and, the next day (March 1), he returned to his country with six crew members and presumably with drugs.

This new complaint arose after it was publicly disclosed on May 30 that 478 kilos of cocaine from Bolivia had been discovered in February at the Barajas airport, Spain, and that the cargo had left the Viru Viru air terminal. in Santa Cruz.
