Mayor Marita González (Frente Amplio) was also very active and required the Departmental Executive to place more containers in the Pinar de Hurtado neighborhood of the city of Colonia. He proposed to the Departmental Executive, “the study of the ordering of traffic on Domingo Maddalena street in this city in front of the CERP and school No. 98” and “the signage of Zorrilla street in San Martín de Ombúes de Lavalle, and the luminaire of the entrance sign to that city.
He also proposed to the Departmental Executive that “perform the recapping of the section of route No. 50, from INIA La Estanzuela to Estanzuela station.” And it required the Ministry of Transport that “before the danger of those waiting for buses, the construction of a sentry box, signaling or whatever is deemed pertinent, on route No. 1 and Mariano Hernández street in Colonia.”
And the Departmental Board of Colonia resolved to “return to the Departmental Executive file No. 20/2020 on a draft decree that directly authorizes the concession of urban collective transport lines that are detailed, to the companies Berrutti and Cia. Ltda., Tab SRL and Compañía Ómnibus Colonia SA, by virtue of their background; informing them that the most appropriate procedure would be the call for tender for the lines, according to what was reported by the Transit and Transportation and Legislation and Regime commissions on March 9 and 25, 2022, respectively.
