The “defense” of René Alinco after accusations by deputy Palma for alcoholic breath: he assures that “the smell of the people bothers him”

After the painful spectacle of the deputy René Alinco (Ind) against the new leader of the Chamber of Deputies, Vlado Mirosevic (PL), and which even cost him the expulsion of the PPD parliamentary caucus, the now independent explained “his version ” of the facts.

Alinco interrupted the inaugural speech of the new president of the corporation and was even accused by some of his peers of having been drunk and having “alcoholic breath”, a case that will be brought before the Ethics Commission of the Lower House.

On the alcoholic breath, the independent maintained that “those who have to prove are those who are accusing me, but nobody raises the underlying reasons that I have given.” In passing, he took the opportunity to criticize parliamentarian Hernán Palma, who spoke of having perceived a “strange perfume” in his vicinity.

“Surely deputy Palma is bothered by the smell of the people, quite strange smells also come here and therefore a system would have to be put in place to determine it. The only thing to determine the alcoholic breath is a medical examination,” answered Alinco.

On the other hand, he assured that he would like “some to review the offices of perhaps some members of this Congress and I assure you that more than one little bottle is going to be found out there. We are going to name them.”

“Sometimes my past condemns me, but the main thing is not the alcoholic breath, but how they are acting here,” said Alinco.
