This Tuesday, November 9, around 11:34 pm, the computer systems of the National Administrative Department of Statistics (Dane) were the target of a cyberattack, This situation led to the disabling of the website and other internal programs of the entity, following the protocols for this type of case.
Through a statement, Dane said that both the information handled by the entity and the privacy of the data are safe.
(Colombia, third in cybercrime and sixth in cyber attacks).
The entity recommended that citizens ignore electronic communication, coming from people posing as Dane officials and added that a specialized team is working to re-establish the affected services.
