Once again, the Dominican Republic exhibited at EAA Airventure, in Oshkosh, United States, the advances generated by the government of President Luis Abinader in favor of the development of non-commercial private aviation.
For a week, the Airport Department (DA) in coordination with the Ministry of Tourism and agencies in the airport and aeronautical sector, showed hundreds of pilots, aviation enthusiasts and visitors in general, all the facilities and benefits that the country has to receive this type of aviation.
Victor Pichardo, Executive Director of the DA, recalled the importance and significance of the Protocol for Non-Commercial Private Aviation, implemented by decree 259-23.
“It is through this decree and the active promotion of the country in these fairs that we have been able to receive more and more Fly Ins year after year, an activity that has a positive impact on tourism and, therefore, on the national economy,” Pichardo said.
EAA Airventure is the largest general and experimental aviation trade show in the United States. It has been held for 71 years. The country has been participating since 2009.
