Through a statement, the bench of Country advances announced that it is preparing a vacancy motion against the head of state, peter castle“with solid arguments” in order to achieve the 87 votes required to finalize the removal of the president.
“We firmly believe in the mechanisms of political control granted by the Constitution and, for this reason, we support the vacancy motion and inform the public that we are working to strengthen the motion, with solid and coherent arguments, to achieve the adhesion of the other political forces and obtain the necessary votes for its approval”, he indicated in the document spread through social networks.
The parliamentary group also referred to the testimony given by Karelim López -as an aspiring effective collaborator- before the Public Ministry, where he points out the existence of a criminal organization in the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) dedicated to directing the works public and presumably directed by Pedro Castillo.

“Karelim López’s statements reinforce and confirm the acts of corruption that the country observed after (…) the clandestine meetings that the President of the Republic held in Sarratea”, is indicated in the pronouncement.
Similarly, the bench also recalled the complaint made by the former Deputy Minister of Transport Fabiola Caballero, who pointed out that there was “a job takeover by people who did not meet the merits or technical skills required”.
“The Avanza País bench reaffirms its commitment to the defense of democracy, the Constitution and freedom. In this sense, it will continue its legislative and oversight work with the purpose of generating greater development and opportunities.”, he concluded.
