“The only thing we want is justice and that, if the public knows, they report who is guilty of this horrible femicide, because there are three femicides in a single day,” said an aunt from Yuliana Macías, who added that the young woman was a singer, known as “Syria, the Greek goddess.”
Preliminarily, the young woman left the house saying that she would meet a friend on Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. Three hours later she put a picture of her on her WhatsApp status with the others two girls who were killed with her.
But after the relatives of the three girls, originally from Santo Domingo, talked, between them the version arose that they had been hired to sing. Both Yuliana Macías and Denisse Reyna were dedicated to music.
When the relatives no longer knew more about the young women, the case was reported to Dinased.
“I myself filed the complaint on Thursday at eleven at night in Dinased. And on the morning (Friday) they called me to tell me to go to Quinindé, because there was something new. In Quinindé they already told us to go to the forensic center,” said Macías’ aunt.
Investigators from Criminalistics and Dinased carried out the respective expertise in the Coles sector, on the road to Valle del Sade, where the three bodies were found. There the agents found a cell phone.
“It is one more piece of evidence that the Dinased unit has in its hands to continue with the investigations of the triple murder,” said one of the agents in charge of the case.
To get to the site you have to cross the Canandé river by barge. It is presumed that the young women were murdered in the jurisdiction of the Malimpia parish and then buried on the banks of the river, so as not to leave traces.
