“We are in the phase of broad dialogue and debate, for the National Congress of the Historical Block of the 5 Generations. Listening to all opinions, consulting all sectors that the Bolivarian Revolution made visible,” said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, this Monday during the broadcast of his program Con Maduro +.
In this regard, Ricardo Menéndez, member of the Promotion Team of the 5 Generations Congress, reported that they have held more than 42 thousand popular assemblies and more than 48 thousand proposals from the grassroots people for the development of the country within the framework of the Congress of the Historical Block .
“Our people have proposed in the discussions a new system of popular, community government, with new scales. The Commune and the Communal Circuits sound like part of these forms of territorialization of the State in search of a higher level of efficiency and development,” highlighted the also Minister of Planning.
In this sense, the head of State Nicolás Maduro extended the installation of the Congress of the Historical Block for another month, so that 15 more days of consultations with the Venezuelan people and 15 days of processing the proposals and the preparation of the final document are carried out.
“I give you one more month so that you can move forward (…) so that then we can begin the installation of Congress, from Thursday, October 31 to November 2, with thousands of delegates and spokespersons from all over the country,” he said. .
The president explained that they are waiting for three documents: Concrete action agenda of the 7Ts; document with a long-term vision, 30 years; and the document that speaks of the construction of the new State that surpasses the old bourgeois and bureaucratic State.
