The "Conde del Guácharo" is considering running as a candidate in 2024

Benjamín Rausseo stressed that he wants to be useful “wherever Venezuela puts me” and, although he has not run as a candidate, his name appears with 37% of voting intentions in various polls.

The comedian and politician Benjamín Rausseo, known as “El Conde del Guácharo”, expressed the possibility of running as a candidate for the 2024 presidential elections. He also assured that he would be able to summon the “best men and women” and the “most prepared » in order to make a good government plan for the population.

In an interview granted to wave circuit, Rausseo expressed confidence that a “strengthened middle class” is needed in Venezuela and “the less poverty there is,” a better country can be had. He stressed that he always had aspirations and dreams to grow from his humble origins to what he is today and beyond.

He said that because of his humorous characterization, there is a misconception that he is always telling jokes. «The man who swears the least personally is Benjamín Rausseo, because I sell them. I can’t give them away,” he stressed.

He indicated that he had the opportunity to study a Doctorate in Education and his project is to publish his thesis called “Productive Education”, where he proposes a return to technical schools of arts and crafts. “With an art and a trade he has no excuses to go out begging,” she commented.

In addition to having trained as a criminologist, lawyer and in other professions, the former presidential candidate also stressed that he wants to be useful “wherever Venezuela puts me.” He explained that his name is appearing in several polls and that caught his attention because he had a voting intention of 37%.

“I’m not released. But I am thinking about it. The day it will be, if I can be useful to Venezuela with everything I have studied (…) I am finishing a book called A Country of Owners. I believe in that and not in a ‘country of beggars’ (…) The country is going through a bad time, but we are going to recover, “he asserted.

Rausseo said that “El Conde del Guácharo” was his ally and his adversary at the same time, detailing that he made an “advanced” government plan, which was not read by the population. He added that if they had taken him seriously at that time with what he promised, “we would have saved ourselves 16 years of hardship.”

He mentioned that it was necessary to take that step then because, if he runs again as a candidate, people will say that he really is serious and that it is not a joke. He clarified that he would be an “outsider” and that this figure can penetrate the collective.

He asked that the candidates, in addition to exclaiming that someone specific must be removed, have to have a specific government plan. He commented that “he is not afraid of anyone” and could be measured in primaries.
