The Comptroller’s Office grants Minister Vallejo five days to explain participation in the morning

The Comptroller General of the Republic ruled as a result of the actions of the Government and its ministers regarding the exit plebiscite campaign for next Sunday, September 4.

In this instance, the regulatory entity spoke out for the participation of the government spokesperson, Camila Vallejo, in a morning of Mega last Friday, July 8.

It should be noted that the request was made by parliamentarians from Renovación Nacional, who appealed to the Comptroller’s Office questioning the action and disregard of the Secretary of State for her statements about the constituent process and that it was presented with a pin hallmark of the proposed new Constitution.

In this sense, the institution requested a copy of the presentation from the Ministry General Secretariat of Government, which was formulated by deputy Paula Labra Besserer, and parliamentarians Andrés Celis Montt, Miguel Mellado and Diego Schalper.

The purpose of this action is to “inform this body in accordance with what has been stated by the applicants, within a period of 5 administrative business days, counted from the processing of this official letter.”

“This report must be prepared with the intervention of the legal advisor or lawyer of that entity. In addition, all the necessary background information must be submitted to adequately resolve the presentation in question,” the agency stated.
