The phase of comparison of the documents delivered by individuals and judicial servants of the Second, Fourth and Third Judicial District, applicants for the positions of director and coordinators of the accusatory penal system (SPA), began this Monday, June 5.
The applicants will subsequently participate in the contest within the selection process established in Law No. 53 that regulates the Judicial Career. They will have the opportunity to appear and determine the validity of the documents presented until Friday, June 9, to then be weighed in phase 1 of the judicial career contest.
Article No. 95 of Law 53 of August 27, 2015 states that: “The open competition is the procedure through which the vacancies generated in the Judicial Branch that are not likely to be covered by the routes of transfer, promotion or free appointment of the nominating unit”.
This activity had the participation of the magistrate president of the Administrative Council of the Judicial Career, Abel Augusto Zamorano, who stated that this comparison is being carried out simultaneously in the Maritime Court in Panama and in the Specialized University of the Americas (Udelas). Veraguas headquarters, and the participation of more than 700 applicants is expected.
Judge Abel Zamorano thanked Udelas for its support for facilitating its facilities to carry out this phase of great importance in the implementation of the judicial career. In this regard, Dr. Ingrid Cortez, director of Udelas, expressed her satisfaction at being able to contribute with the Judicial Branch in this period.
