The glass jars will be used to collect and pasteurize breast milk to supply to babies who cannot be breastfed by their mothers, in hospitals. The campaign will run throughout the month of September.
The Ministry of Health, through the Department of Breastfeeding, of the Directorate of Comprehensive Health for Children and Adolescents, continues with the “Glass Bottle Donation Campaign”, which will run throughout the month of September.
Companies and institutions and anyone who wants to promote and protect breastfeeding can donate small and medium-sized glass jars with plastic lids, wide mouths and, if possible, clean, to support the Red Paraguaya de Bancos de Leche and Breastfeeding Centers.
The bottles that are donated will be used to collect and store breast milk for newborns who cannot be breastfed, in the MSPyBS and IPS hospitals.
