He Director of the National Police, General William René Salamancagave new details about the investigation that seeks clarify the motives and capture those responsible for the murder of four members of the Lora Rincón familyon December 30, in a restaurant in Aguachica, in the department of Cesar.
“We have been investigating for five days, with more than 115 investigative activities carried out. We do not rule out any hypothesis and we are moving forward. We hope to soon tell the country what happened in this reprehensible crime.”said Salamanca.

Alleged action of an agent in the crime
The institution is under scrutiny after it was revealed that a member of it could be involved in the murder of the Lora Rincón.
According to General Salamanca, security cameras in the area managed to capture a uniformed man in the vicinity of the crime scene. This designated officer belongs to a special group of hydrocarbon operations and, according to the police general, he was in the place “coincidental“.

Aside from investigating the officer involved, The authorities do not rule out that the attack was directed against a third person, known by the alias ‘Andrea’, whose husband was murdered in the same region..
“We have not received previous complaints of extortion against the Lora Rincón family, but we are exploring all hypotheses to understand the motives behind this attack”, concluded the director of the National Police.
