After a very complicated and confrontational year politically, ecclesiastical leaders, authorities, politicians and civics unite, this Christmas in a message of peace,
unity and reconciliation
Pope Francis pointed out on the eve of Christmas Eve that “at this moment in the history of the world, we are called to feel a greater responsibility to do our part in building peace.”
He added that “this has a special meaning for those of us who live and work in Vatican City. Not because this tiny State, the smallest in the world, has a special weight, not because of that; but because we have like cabeza ymMaster to the Lord Jesus, who calls us to unite our humble daily commitment to his work of reconciliation and peace”, he assured.

The vice president of the civic entity, Fernando Larach pointed out that “Christmas is a season of peace, of love, of reconciliation. We finished a 2022 that leaves us lessons learned and will help us to face a 2023 with many challenges”, he stated.
