The 46th edition of the Eastern Integration Grand Prix is ​​underway. This Friday night, in the municipality of Cotoca, the symbolic start and classification of this test that bears the name of Carlos ‘Pimpo’ Bendek took place.

The competition is organized by the Santa Cruz Sports Automobile Association (Adecruz) which, together with the authorities of Cotoca, He carried out an entire sports festival with the roar of engines.

The symbolic start took place in Fátima Square, where there was music, fireworks and the competitors were introduced one by one, before an enthusiastic audience that gathered at the place. A total of 63 pilots registered for this competition.

After the promotional start The qualifying round was held with a route of 5.97 kilometres, It was reduced due to the poor condition of a section of the route, since initially it had to be run 6.39 kilometers.

The first stage will be held this Saturday between Cotoca and San Javier, which includes two special tests, with a total of 112.1 kilometers of route.

The first special test will start in Cotoca and end in Pailas, with 44.97 km; and the second will start in El Puente and conclude in La Nipo (Las Habras), with 67.13 km timed.

The race is valid as the date of the Departmental Road Championshipbut the first two stages will also be scored for the Departmental Cross Country Championship.

The competing categories are RC2N, Proto, RC2N Nacional, R1B, R2B Libre, Buguies Libre 1,600, Buguies Libre 2,000, TT 1,600, Open 4×4, Motos Open, Moto Mn (Chinese up to 250cc), ATV 2, ATV 4, T3, T3.1 and Turismo Open 4×4.
