The small table CGT (General Confederation of Labor) confirmed this Thursday that it will carry out a massive mobilization against inflation and the permanent re-marking of prices, which keeps the income of Argentines in decline.
The organism reported that they will carry out a great march on August 17, which will start from the Obelisk and end in the Plaza de los Dos Congresos, where the representatives of the CGT they will congregate
The measure of force CGT was announced, after the meeting that took place yesterday afternoon at the headquarters of UPCN (Union of Civilian Personnel of the Nation), between leaders of the workers’ union.
However, the march will be debated by the CGT Board of Directors on the 21st of this month to formalize the decision, according to CGT co-head Héctor Daer: “The mobilization is going to be presented to the board of directors, but the idea is to go from the Obelisk to the monument to Congress”he indicated.
The trade unionist also added: “the reality that we workers, retirees and colleagues who are in the informal sector deserves that everyone put what they have to put to find a way out and that it be as soon as possible.”
In this sense, from the workers’ union they hope that the Government implements new policies and strategies to reverse the economic crisis that the country has experienced in recent months; especially because of inflation.
