Banamex announced earlier its expectations that the Central Bank makes two cuts to the reference rate of 50 points: one this Thursday and another in March.
The interbank fund rate is 10%, if the 50 -point adjustment is carried out, the rate would be 9.50%.
This would cause the CETES, especially those of 28 days, adjust their yields down the following weeks.
What is the performance of the CETES?
The CETES at 28 days offered yields of 9.65% while three months, the yields were 9.51%.
Six months, the rate of performance was adjusted to 9.52% and a year, the yields were 9.52%.
