The Art Gallery is the largest that Casacor Bolivia has had in its 10-year history. In this version of the intervened property, where the architecture and design exhibition is held, se has joined the Certified Forest Walklocated right on one of its fronts, on the sides of the Isuto Canal.
With the support of the Autonomous Municipal Government of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, said public space was renovated and valued, in addition to itse entrusted to Manzana Uno the restoration of the 38 sculptures of wood that were created in various International Meetings of Certified Wood Sculptors. They were joined by paintings by renowned national artists.
“We project it like this to revalue this place and leave it to the city even more beautiful than it already was”, commented “Quito” Velasco, director of the architecture and design exhibition.
For her part, Sarah Mansilla, Municipal Secretary of Culture and Tourism, indicated: “In the city there are many places like this that we do not give importance to, and they are wonderful.” On the other hand, she expressed her admiration for the work of the artists: “They see what many of us don’t.. They reflect their thoughts and feelings in their works, and they share it with us”.
The gallery is open to the public free of charge. from 4:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Its closing date is that of Casacor, on Saturday, July 1.
Casacor Bolivia It is open from May 24. The edition consists of 36 spaces, in which 57 professionals have worked. The property chosen this year is located on the corner of Canal Isuto and Tercer Anillo Externo (Av. Marcelo Terceros Banzer).
