In the midst of the crisis experienced by carriers due to the shortage of gasoil In much of the country, the Confederation of Hydrocarbons and Related Trade Entities of the Argentine Republic (CECHA) assured that the problem will begin to be resolved in ten days.
Carlos Gold, Secretary of Institutional Relations of the CECHA, pointed out that the problem of shortage of gas will be overcome thanks to the arrival “of the first ships to regasify”, with which in the coming days the supply of gasoil should be normal.
In dialogue with Telam, Gold assured that the problem due to the lack of gasoil It will be resolved gradually, thanks to the measures implemented by the Government in recent weeks.
“Due to the battery of measures and the arrival of the ships, I believe that in ten days the situation will not be completely normalized, but it will be much better.“said the secretary.
And he added: “This is a calculation since we do not know how much the oil companies are going to contribute to the additional 5% of the biodiesel cut temporarily authorized for 60 days, above the 7.5% established as a general level.”
With the increase in the percentage of biodiesel ordered by the Government, “it will be possible to increase the volume of gasoil current, with the aim of supporting the growing demand registered by the internal market”, they assured from the Confederation.
Likewise, the official anticipates that by mid-July the problem will be completely resolved, “a normal situation is expected by mid-July, because agricultural consumption is going to drop and, although that of the industry may increase, it is expected that the ships will have already arrived to regasify”.
