The repaired or replaced escalators are located at Copilco and Miguel Ángel de Quevedo stations on Line 3, Santa Anita and Consulado on Line 4, Chabacano and Salto del Agua on Line 8, Tacubaya on Line 9 and another 22 on Line 4. Line 7.

He pointed out that 17 escalators distributed throughout the network are in the process of deep maintenance or renovation and highlighted that these correspond to only 3% of the total installed equipment.

“Before this administration we found that on average between 12 and 15% of the escalators were out of operation, this means 57 that were not working on a daily basis,” he said.
