Panama reported on the afternoon of this Tuesday, November 15, the appearance of 7 new cases of monkeypox or monkeypox for an increase of 34 cases in the national territory.
According to the Department of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health, all new cases have been detected in men between 31 and 53 years of age.
the cases were located in the metropolitan health region (3 cases), West Panama (2 cases); one (1) case from Panamá Norte and one (1) from San Miguelito.
Regional health teams carry out field investigations to determine the close contacts of these cases and offer them vaccination against monkeypox.
