The Government of Buenos Aires will present this Friday before the City Legislature the package of economic laws that will include the 2023 Budget project for discussion, according to legislative and executive sources told Télam.
However, the day on which the Buenos Aires Treasury and Finance Minister, Martín Mura, will attend the local parliament to give the details of the project to the deputies has not yet been informed, nor has the round of visits to the Legislature by cabinet officials.
Strictly speaking, the Buenos Aires Budget project has September 30 as the deadline for sending it to the Legislature, however, in recent years the presentation has been delayed due to the need for Horacio Rodríguez Larreta’s management to have more time to analyze the definition of the macroeconomic variables raised by the Nation.
The current Buenos Aires Budget amounts to a total amount of $1 billion 142 million, after the expansion of expenses approved by the Legislature last July.
