Summoned to the Public Health and Social Assistance Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, the president of ASSE Leonardo Cipriani attended accompanied by several directors and denied that there were difficulties regarding medicines and the CTI at the Colonia Hospital.
Dr. Cipriani maintained that the CTI of Colonia “is budgeted and that 55 positions that make up the organization’s structure were generated.”
According to the hierarch, since the CTI was installed, the staff went “from 315 to 475 officials and the care center was reactivated in many services that were not fully fulfilled, such as the surgical unit.”
Regarding medicines, Cipriani said that “the story that was generated about medicines is affecting the population”, because “things are said that are totally absurd.”
Of the 967 drugs that ASSE manages in its formulary, information was requested “only on 32 drugs,” and “there are no others that were added recently,” said the president of ASSE.
The red deputy Nibia Reisch was absolutely in agreement with the explanations provided by Dr. Cipriani and about the CTI of the Hospital de Colonia, the legislator assured that after the call it was clear that she has all the necessary human and material resources for the correct operation with a very good level of management.
