An employee of the Argentine club accused the coach of the women’s team, Jorge Martínez, of sexual harassment after he touched her against her will last year.
The coach of the Boca women’s team, accused of sexual abuse
an employee of Boca Juniors accused the coach of the women’s team, Jorge Martinezof sexual harassment. Andrea Lucangioli, a lawyer for the complainant, told local media on Monday that she had brought the accusation against Martínez to prosecutors.
Luncagioli said his client was sexually abused by the coach against her will last year, among other incidents involving him. Lucangioli also reported that his client had brought the accusation to the club’s Department of Equality and Inclusion before contacting prosecutors.
Neither the club nor the coach have commented on the matter. The news of the accusations comes a day after the Boca Juniors women’s team beat arch-rivals River Plate 3-0.
