In the ranks of the PAN, it is expected that the next national leadership will be defined on November 10 with the vote of its members. With the dates planned by the blue and whitethe current president, Marko Cortés, will remain for at least two months as acting senator and party leader. A week before issuing the call for the internal process, the organizing committee for the election of the National Executive Committee projects the possibility of a second round of voting, as well as a lock to prevent members of the PAN leadership –national and local– from supporting any candidate. In an interview with The DayCecilia Romero, a member of the organizing committee, explained that it will be this body that will organize the internal elections in their entirety.
