For its part, Sapase has denied a false statement circulating on social networks about main traffic closures in the municipality of Ecatepec.

Roads closed in Ecatepec
The blockades are recorded on the main avenues, such as Vía Morelos, Av. López Portillo, Texcoco-Lechería federal highway, López Mateos Av. Central and Río de los Remedios.
The union members warned that they will maintain the blockades until they receive the owed payment. And they accuse the former mayor of Ecatepec, Fernando Vilchis Contreras, of refusing to make the payments and leaving them for the next administration.
