The Bicameral Intelligence Commission of Congress will analyze this Wednesday the action of the Federal Intelligence Agency (AFI) in the case of the Venezuelan plane who is held by court order in Ezeiza and, on the other hand, how progress is being made in the investigation into illegal espionage in the Cambiemos administration and the alleged creation of cases to harm trade unionists and unions.
The parliamentary group – chaired by deputy Leopoldo Moreau – was summoned for 2:30 p.m. to analyze, first, a report from the subcommission on the investigation of illegal espionage carried out in the management of the former governor and current deputy of Together for Change, María Eugenia Vidal, and other measures that will be adopted prior to the drafting of the opinion.
The commission includes, in addition to Moreau, the official Oscar Parrilli, Rodolfo Tailhade, Mariano Recalde, Eduardo Valdés, Blanca Osuna, Sergio Leavy, and the opponents of JXC Cristian Ritondo, Miguel Bazze, Alfredo Cornejo, Daniel Kroneberger, Gerardo Milman, and Ignacio Towers.
Parliamentary sources from the ruling party indicated that everything that has been done to date will be endorsed and a description will be made of the test measures that were adopted throughout this time given that The next step will be to advance in an opinion on that investigation that began from a complaint by the former AFI intervener Cristina Camaño.
Camaño’s complaint
The former official denounced before the Federal Courts that she had found a video of that 2017 meeting at the Buenos Aires headquarters of the Banco Provincia, in which, later it became known, spies also participated in activity.
in that meeting Strategies would have been analyzed to advance in the preparation of cases against unionistsin particular against the then leader of the Uocra La Plata Juan Pablo “Pata” Medina, and it was during that conversation that the former Buenos Aires Minister of Labor Marcelo Villegas said that he would have liked to have a “Gestapo” to take action against the trade unionists.
Report on the Venezuelan plane
On the other hand, regarding the Venezuelan plane held in Ezeiza and whose crew is under investigation, Moreau informed Télam last week that -together with the senator of Together for Change Daniel Kroneberger- he sent a request to the judge of the case on June 14. , Federico Villena, and requested a report from the AFI that is already in his possession.
In that sense, Moreau pointed out that he already has the report that (the Bicameral) will analyze today “on the actions of the intelligence agencies,” which is led by former Defense Minister Agustín Rossi.
In that request, they asked the AFI if, prior to the arrival of the flight, it had information about the crew and if there had been any alert about its members or exchange of information with Paraguay and Brazil.
The Argentine Justice ordered on June 8 that the Venezuelan plane be immobilized at the international airport of Buenos Aires.
