Almost one million women will be the first beneficiaries of the new Mujeres Bienestar program – created at the instruction of President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo – who will receive 3 thousand pesos every two months.
Yesterday morning at the National Palace, the first of 2025, the head of the Ministry of Welfare, Ariadna Montiel, said that tomorrow the official delivery of this support will begin in the state of Mexico.
It indicated that 964,556 women who will be beneficiaries were registered (810,988 aged 63 and 64 and 153,568 indigenous women aged 60 to 64).
Likewise, he reported that in the three Welfare programs launched by the last federal administration (pension for older adults, pension for people with disabilities and support for children of working mothers), this year an investment of 544 thousand 600 million pesos will be allocated and 14.5 million beneficiaries and beneficiaries will benefit.
The dispersion of resources for the first two months of the year will be carried out from today to January 22 in alphabetical order of the first surname of the beneficiaries.
The pension for older adults, he said, benefits 12 million 393 thousand 658 people and the investment in 2025 will be 483.4 billion pesos.
In the program for people with disabilities there are one million 395 thousand 40 beneficiaries and the investment will be 29 billion pesos.
For the working mothers program, 325,171 people will receive support and the budget for this year is 3,185 million pesos.
Social rights
President Sheinbaum Pardo stated that during her administration nearly one billion pesos will be reached for welfare and social rights programs.

At the conference, the head of the National Institute of Indigenous Peoples, Adelfo Regino Montes, announced the direct budget allocation to indigenous and Afro-Mexican peoples and communities, which was established in the recent constitutional reform on the matter.
The resources will be divided into two: Transversal Annex 10, for which 221 thousand 32 million pesos will be granted, 67 billion more than last year; and the Social Infrastructure Contribution Fund, with 12,374 million pesos.
