Colombian Caribbean beaches are among the favorite destinations for many who seek to get distracted and get out of their daily routine. Also, the paradises of the Pacific will have thousands of visitors.

During the Easter season, there are many people who seek to travel to enjoy the sun and the beach, in the different destinations that Colombia has, in the case of beaches; from the Caribbean to the Pacific.

The beaches of the Colombian Caribbean are part of the preferred vacation destinations for their crystal clear waters and white sand.

Beaches on the island of San Andrés

One of the most visited beaches are those of the Island of San Andrés, also known as the sea of ​​seven colors and also houses one of the largest coral walls in the world.

The island has a wide variety of places to visit, such as the blow hole, the island of Johnny Cay, Morgan’s cave, among others.

Likewise, it has a large hotel infrastructure and different places for night-time activities.

However, given the crisis due to the suspension of airlines that had flights to that area, this time there would be fewer tourists.

Tayrona National Park

The Tayrona National Park is located 34 km from the city of Santa Marta, and is also one of the most important natural parks in Colombia.

This place is considered a nature sanctuary, due to its beauty that makes it rich in fauna and flora.

This park is part of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and covers a large number of protected areas.

It should be remembered that this site closes the entrance of visitors a few times a year, but for the Easter season it will be open. The next closing date will be June 1-15.

Rodadero Beach

In the city of Santa Marta, one of the most visited beaches is El Rodadero, located just 10 minutes away and characterized by its white sand beaches.

It also has an exclusive hotel zone of the city, surrounded by many restaurants and nightclubs.

Likewise, it is ideal for practicing water activities, such as skiing, underwater fishing, sailing, among others.

Capurganá beaches

Capurganá, a paradise with a variety of crystalline beaches and located in the department of Chocó, in the Gulf of Urabá in the Caribbean Sea.

A place that offers tranquility on its beaches, surrounded by mountains, since it is on the border between Panama and Colombia.

To get to this site, it can be done by air from Medellín or Cartagena, also by sea from the municipality of Turbo.

Bahía Solano in Buenaventura or Nuquí itself in Chocó are other destinations, but especially when it comes to looking for beaches with more nature and in more secluded places to rest.

Tumaco is another of the destinations to which many decide to travel on these holy days.

This tourist port in the Pacific of Nariño, has been gaining strength among Colombians, and the presence of foreigners has also increased.

Isla Barú beach

In recent times, Barú Island has gained more and more prominence and many travelers come to this site.

It is approximately 47 km from Cartagena and it is only possible to get there by sea.

There are no large hotel chains, restaurants, and much less nightclubs on the island.

But you can enjoy its beautiful beaches, many of them virgin, which gives the island that special touch of beauty.

To spend the night in this beautiful place, it can be done in tourist cabins, hammocks, but what must be taken into account is that many of these do not have electricity service, much less WiFi.
