The Development and Export Bank (Bandex) is in a process of institutional modernization as a result of its transformation into a development bank, which includes the dismantling of the assets inherited from the National Housing Bank (BNV)the implementation of a new operating platform to correct the technological delay of 17 years that the institution found itself, the capitalization of the bank and the launch of new banking products specialized.
The Superintendent of Banks, Alexander Fernandez W.visited the headquarters of the Bandex to learn about the progress in the projects of transformation to development banking, recovery and modernization of the institution.
During the visit, the general manager of Bandex, Juan Mustafainformed the Superintendent about the status of implementation of the new banking operating platform, which will be ready for testing in October this year, and with which the technological capabilities will be achieved to have a more agile bank, efficient in its processes and capable of grant a better experience and products to its customers.

It also received information on the agreements with international organizations, the new lines of credit and products that are planned to be launched, the operationalization of the Bandex areas that were found to be non-functional in August 2020, and the change in the distinctive signs of the institution.
