General Carlos Rombys, Chief of the IV Army Division based in Mines, in the framework of his visit to Melo, spoke about some modifications that will be carried out in the Frontier Operation.

After attending the commemoration ceremony for the 85th anniversary of the Number 2 Cavalry Brigade, he recalled that it is good to celebrate and commemorate anniversaries.

“They are moments of meeting, they are very nice moments, we review some things that we understand are very important, we get together with our friends who are ultimately friends and families, this meeting is to celebrate the anniversary as we historically do,” he said. .

“The Border Operation comes as normal,” said Rombys.

This operation that has been going on for many years is being carried out and now with some modifications, we are ready to introduce some more modifications, as naturally we have been working on this issue”. He maintained that it is an order for operations issued by the command and in this sense “we are adjusting the details in general terms,” ​​he said, “it does not change its essence, which is what has already been specified and that everyone already has clear knowledge of what It is what we are doing at the border and why”, he also spoke of those modifications. “There are a lot of these modifications that are operational, aspects that are associated with our own tasks, in some areas we are promoting them, in others we are adjusting, because in any operation, like everything in life, we have to be constantly adjusting it”.

With the Brazilian army, he said that there are permanent coordinations and that soon “we will have some coordination at the highest level, precisely trying to coordinate actions and unite efforts in this regard.

Community support tasks

In this regard, the General explained that they have been collaborating in works such as the one we inaugurated on the 27th here in Melo, referring to the Gallinal building.

“We provide support to our hospitals in the different departments and we have to be supporting and we are going to continue supporting them according to the need and our possibility,” he said.

“Everything based on our possibilities we will always be there collaborating.”
