The event was attended by the presidential candidates of the party, as well as leaders, militants and representatives of various social sectors, including workers, producers and members of civil society.

Renán Núñez, president of Conaplan, was in charge of exposing the scope of the document, which defined as an initiative “aimed at recovering the confidence of the Peruvian people in their institutions and returning to the country a course of social justice, order and development.”

Núñez stressed that the presence of delegations of popular workers and sectors was a reflection of the “national expectation” put in the Centennial Party, and reaffirmed the commitment of the APRA in the fight against “poverty, marginalization and government paralysis.”

According to Núñez, the Government Plan seeks to modernize the State, providing it with a scientific vision and a deep social sense.

The Reason of the APRISTA Plan

In his analysis of national reality, the president of Conaplan was categorical by pointing out that Peru is going through a severe economic, political and moral crisis. He emphasized problems such as increasing unemployment, labor precariousness, citizen insecurity and the alarming child malnutrition.

Closing his speech, Renán Núñez called on the responsible unit within aprismo. He stressed that, although the party is proud to present four presidential candidates, all of them converge in a “only social justice government program, order and equity.”

“The aprista militant understands that the unit is not communion with the immoral or the anti -prista, but the consensus of those who live there is. The APRA is renewed without dividing,” he said.
