The AMBA and the Buenos Aires Atlantic Coast under yellow alert due to strong winds

The National Meteorological Service (SMN) issued yellow alerts for strong winds from the southern sector for the AMBA and a large part of the center and south of the province of Buenos Airesincluding the Atlantic coast.

The area will be affected by winds from the southern sector with speeds between 40 and 60 kilometers per hour and gusts that can exceed 75 kilometers per hour, which caused a marked drop in temperatures for this summer season.

In the AMBA and La Plata the minimums are between 6-9 degrees minimum and 18-19 degrees maximumwhile in Mar del Plata and other Buenos Aires beaches rains and temperatures between 7 and 15 degrees are forecast, for both ends.

Further towards the center of Buenos Aires, several towns such as Tandil, Olavarría, Laprida, Azul, Saladillo, Navarro, among others, are also under yellow alert due to strong winds, and in the south it reaches several cities such as Bahía Blanca, Púan and Carmen de Patagones.

The SMN recommended that the inhabitants of the areas under alert avoid outdoor activities and secure items that can be blown away.
