The Accountability Report was presented to Parliament

This Wednesday, the economic team headed by Minister Azucena Arbeleche appeared before Parliament to explain the government’s latest financial statements and to take stock of its economic management.

The presentation was made to the Budget and Treasury Committee of the House of Representatives.

The document emphasizes that the period in question has been “characterized by crises: pandemic, Russian invasion of Ukraine, the worst drought in the last 100 years and strong impact on relative prices with Argentina” and that “despite this, the economy overcame the crises and grew.”

According to the economic team, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 2.7% compared to 2019 and is projected to reach 3.0% by 2024.
